Kowa's BD II XD series combine XD lenses and phase and C3 coatings on the Schmidt-Pechan prism systems to provide very high light transmission with minimal chromatic aberration. the 10x42 BD II XD has a 378’ field of view, generous for a 10x. Twist-up eyecups and 16.5 mm of eye relief will be appreciated by eyeglass wearers. The 5.9’ close focus works even for butterfly and feeder watchers. it’s all securely housed in a rubber-armored, strong magnesium alloy body that’s waterproof and fog proof.
