Sure, the 8x22 Genesis Prominar is lightweight at 11.1 ounces and compact enough for a pocket, but defying expectations, it offers a 393-foot field of view and close focuses to less than 5 feet. No polycarbonate body here; those XD lenses are mounted firmly in a waterproof, nitrogen-filled magnesium alloy body. Fine-geared focus, front diopter wheels and beautiful rubber armoring are further evidence that you have some very fine optics in the palm of your hand.
