The Zeiss Victory Pocket 8x25 pack Zeiss quality in an amazingly small package. The 427-foot field of view is still considered generous in an 8x42, but wholly unexpected in an 8x25, while even butterfliers will appreciate the 6.2’ close focus. The 8x25 Victory has all the expected Victory features including Zeiss T* and LotuTec coatings, 91% light transmission and Schott FL objective lenses. Most 20 to 25 mm compacts achieve minimum size using double hinges, requiring curling your fingers to reach the little focus knob. But the Victory Pockets use one asymmetrical hinge, placing the focus knob just under your right finger. And they’ll still fit into a pocket!
