Zeiss Conquest Gavia 85mm with 30-60x
The Zeiss Conquest Gavia 85, introduced during Britain's 2016 Bird Fair, was well received from the start. This bright, compact 30-60x85 mm scope continues to provide surprisingly bright and sharp views in wide-ranging conditions. Despite 30x to 60x magnification, the Gavia close focuses down to just 10.8 feet! Named after the genus of loons, it is no surprise that the Gavia’s rubber-armored magnesium body is waterproof and fog proof. Zeiss T* coating assures crisp images, while the LotuTec© coating lets water roll off. The large focus ring is easy to use even with gloves, and at 60 ounces, it is surprisingly portable. The scope foot fits into some popular tripod heads (Manfrotto 128 RC) with no plate needed.
