Some viewers miss the previous version’s dual focus knob, but most find that outweighed by the smooth helical focus combined with a perceptibly crisper, brighter image. The field of view allows for easy target acquisition, and the eye relief works even with sun or eyeglasses. While a 23-foot close focus won’t impress many people, it won’t deter many, either!
