Vortex Diamondback HD 8x28
There are lots of small "pocket" or "travel" binoculars available as 8x20 or 8x25, but the Vortex Diamondback HD 8x28 stands nearly alone in this configuration. We like lots of light, and smaller objectives don’t always provide enough for a good image. The few extra millimeters in the Diamondback HD 8x28 offer just enough more that even a fussy birder can be satisfied. With a minimum IPD of 55mm, it could also be an entry level optic for elementary-age new birders. The eye relief is enough for eyeglass wearers. At only 14 ounces it still rates as a compact binocular.
