Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Head
Manfrotto's MVH500AH is a lightweight video pan head with a wider platform and a sliding plate. The sliding plate is helpful for birders planning on digiscoping, especially with a DSLR, which adds a lot of weight at the eyepiece end. The sliding plate lets you to balance the setup over the center of gravity. Fluid cartridges on pan and tilt axes ensure that every movement is smooth, controlled and precise, even with a large payload. The side lock system allows the sliding QR plate to click quickly into the head from above, with no secondary safety lock needed. The head has a pre-set counterbalance of 5.3 lbs., but can support equipment of up to 11 lbs.
