Hawke Sport Optics Endurance ED 20-60x68 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing)
The Endurance ED series includes Hawke's top-of-the-line models. The Endurance ED 20-60x68 is the second largest of the four models, but still offers a nice balance of light-gathering ability and weight. Though it has a 68 mm objective, it's about the size and weight of most 60 mm scopes. That allows for a lighter tripod, and therefore a lighter kit overall. The ED glass and dielectric prism coatings produce excellent resolution and reduction in chromatic aberration; it remains nicely sharp right up to 60x, which few scopes under $1600 can claim.
