Here in Cape May, your memberships supports:

  1.  Our ability to keep our finger on the pulse of migration through our annual counts:
    • Hawks, Eagles, Falcons and Vultures at the Cape May Hawkwatch (est. 1976)

    • The imperiled Monarch Butterfly through our Monarch Monitoring Project (est. 1989)

    • Over 100 species of waterbirds, and over 1 million individuals each year at the Avalon Seawatch (est. 1993)

    • Nearly 100 species of landbird at the Morning Flight Songbird Count (est. 2005)

  2. Our seasonal intern program where we train the conservation leaders of tomorrow, and

  3. Our innovative programming that connects people to nature throughout the year to develop a greater conservation ethic and ensure the needs of resident and migratory fauna are met for generations to come

Note that while New Jersey Audubon memberships are on a rolling renewal basis, Cape May Bird Observatory memberships run September 1 - August 31. Life memberships, naturally, do not have an expiration date.
