Manfrotto MK290XTA3-2WUS Aluminum Kit
Since the 1980’s when Manfrotto tripods were sold as Bogen, the various versions of this tripod have been a favorite with birders. The latest MK290XTA3-2WUS remains our best-seller. The kit consists of the three section 290 aluminum legs and the 128 RC two-way fluid head. The 128 RC head offers very smooth pan and tilt movements, and several scope models (e.g. Swarovski ATS & ATX, Zeiss Gavia & Harpia, and others) slip right into the head with no need for the quick release plate. You can count on years of stable, sturdy, dependable service.
