Leica Trinovid HD 10x32

This venerable name first appeared in 1958. The word Trinovid was formed from "Tri"(three) and "Novi"(new or novel) innovations, which were (1) true internal focusing, (2) ergonomic construction, and (3) superior optical performance. Over six decades later, Leica Camera AG (Wetzlar) introduced the new generation of 32 mm models in the Trinovid HD family. At 23 ounces, they’re among the lightest in their class, and the 17 mm eye relief and four click-stop eyecups work great for eyeglass wearers. A 342-foot field of view is more than functional, though it’s not the widest at this price point. The 3.3-foot close focus is “best in class” and great for butterfly watching. Caveat: viewers with an IPD of less than 58 mm may experience parallax (separation of the two images) as they near the minimum focus.  Overall, the Leica Trinovid 8x32 HD binoculars offer excellent viewing quality for outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts and are among the very best binoculars under $1,000.
