Hawke Sport Optics 7x32 Endurance ED Marine Binoculars
Decades ago, "Marine" binoculars used to have individual focusing, as that was the only way they could be made waterproof. Now nearly all binoculars are waterproof, so these marine models have central focusing and a right diopter. But their configurations still show marine heritage. The 7x32 sports a 4.5 mm exit pupil, while the 7x50's 7.0 mm exit pupil is still the industry leader (because, of course, 7 mm is the maximum aperture of a dark-adpted human eye). The 7x42 monoculars give a bright 6 mm exit pupil, and the one hand ergonomics allow you to keep one hand free to hold onto the boat. Which is always a good idea.
