Celestron Nature DX 8x32

Celestron's Nature DX series provides a great entry level platform for fledgling birders. The 8x32 has a nice 388-foot field of view at 1,000 yards, which makes it simple to get on a target. At only 18 ounces it is light enough for kids, and a treat for adults! They offer all the accessories you would expect. They are waterproof and fog proof and come with objective and ocular covers, case, strap and microfiber lens cloth. Perhaps not as durable as the Trailseekers, yet the whole series is very affordably priced.
