Opticron MM3 GA 50mm w/13-39x HR3 Eyepiece

The MM3 GA scope with 13-39x HR3 eyepiece (Opticron's "good" quality) is another example of how Opticron's maxim "smaller, lighter, brighter, faster" is employed in the Travelscopes. It is also more affordable than the larger of ED versions! It meets the goal of a scope that fits in carry-on luggage, is easy to transport in the field, and offers optics that make it worthwhile bringing it along. This little scope weighs about as much as an 8x42 binocular, just 28.5 oz and is only 11.2 inches long with the eyepiece! The magnification range of 13-39x far exceeds the reach of any binocular. Between 13x and 20x it can even be handheld, yet it will focus down to just 9.5 inches, offering intimate views in your yard as well as in coastal marshes. Features we expect on full sized scopes are all here, including dual focus knobs, ample eye relief, rotating tripod ring, and waterproof construction of polycarbonate and alloys.
