Product Overview
Opticron Explorer WA ED 8x42
Opticron's Explorer WA ED 8x42 offers strong competition for the Nikon Monarch 5 or any other binocular in the $300 range! They have excellent specs such as a 393-foot field of view and 6.6-foot close focus and weigh less than 24 ounces. The ED objectives paired with PC phase corrected prisms and full multicoatings give good color and contrast, and ample eye relief combined with multi-step eyecups give eyeglass wearers a comfortable view of the whole field.
